SASE Network Architect | ACT

Vectiq is seeking an experienced SASE Network Architect to support a major education-sector client with a strategic SASE and Zero Trust discovery initiative.

The role will assess the current environment, define a vendor-neutral target architecture, and develop requirements to support future procurement.

Security Clearance: Australian Citizen

Location: ACT – Onsite

Contract: 6 months + 1 x 6-month extension

Key Responsibilities

- Assess the current network, security and access environment
- Develop a high-level SASE / Zero Trust target architecture
- Define requirements across SWG, CASB, ZTNA, FWaaS, SD-WAN, identity and segmentation
- Develop architecture, technical requirements and evaluation criteria for future procurement
- Facilitate workshops and provide clear, vendor-neutral architectural advice

What we're looking for





- Strong experience delivering SASE, Zero Trust or secure-access transformation
- Background as a Network Security, SASE or Security Architect
- Strong knowledge of SWG, CASB, ZTNA, FWaaS and SD-WAN
- Experience developing target architectures, roadmaps and technical requirements
- Strong stakeholder engagement and experience in large, complex or security-sensitive environments
