About the role

Nexus Project Group is seeking an experienced Northern Operations Restoration Manager to join our team in Pinkenba, QLD on a full time basis. This is a pivotal management position accountable for ensuring the business maintains a scalable restoration delivery network through a combination of internal restoration technicians, strategic subcontractor partnerships and close collaboration with the Building Division.

As the Northern Operations Restoration Manager, you will play a crucial strategic role in developing regional execution hubs across QLD and NSW that provide consistent, high-quality restoration services regardless of whether works are completed by internal teams or subcontractors. The role is responsible for identifying growth opportunities, recruiting and developing internal restoration capacity where commercially viable, while ensuring subcontractor networks provide reliable coverage in regions where an internal presence has not yet been established.

Key responsibilities

- Develop and maintain regional restoration execution hubs capable of servicing residential, commercial and specialty claims.
- Continuously assess regional demand and develop strategies to expand internal restoration capability where commercially viable.
- Lead all regional field operations including internal technicians and approved subcontractors.
- Support complex restoration projects through technical guidance and operational leadership.
- Act as the senior operational representative within the allocated region.
- Mentor technicians to improve technical capability, productivity and customer service.
- Develop trusted relationships with insurers, builders, commercial clients and strategic stakeholders.

What we're looking for

- Minimum 5 years' experience in restoration, construction, insurance repairs or a related field operations environment.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing geographically dispersed field teams, subcontractors or multi-site operations.
- Experience recruiting, onboarding and developing field-based employees.




- Robust understanding of restoration methodologies, project delivery and operational workflows.
- Demonstrated experience managing subcontractor networks and external service providers.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships across multiple business units and functions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence both internal and external parties.
- Current driver's licence, white card and willingness to travel throughout the allocated regions.
