The Opportunity
Lumus Imaging is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our supportive, energetic, and highly skilled team. Based in Launceston within our busy medical imaging department, this is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a close-knit group of professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.
Reporting to the Nuclear Medicine Supervisor, you'll play a key role in our growing service while enjoying the flexibility of a full-time or part-time position. For those looking to further expand their skills, there is also the opportunity to gain exposure to PET/CT and travel to Victoria for additional clinical experience.

To be successful
- Commitment to the provision and promotion of quality health care within the confines of a multi-camera private practice setting
- Demonstrated ability to perform high-quality Nuclear Medicine examinations employing correct techniques to the accepted industry standard or above
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff and other medical and non-medical personnel
- A recognised qualification in Nuclear Medicine
- Experience in general NM, PET and SPECT/CT, with a knowledge of Siemens imaging platforms being an advantage.
- AHPRA registration
- Current Tasmanian Radiation Use licence
