About the Role
We're after a confident, experienced Nursery Room Leader ready to join a supportive team in a full-time capacity. You'll be stepping into an established, tight-knit team with plenty of long-standing staff. This role suits a Diploma-qualified educator who thrives on nurturing our youngest learners, guiding fellow educators, and forming genuine connections with children and families in an intimate, close-knit setting.
As Nursery Room Leader, you will:
- Plan, deliver, and review engaging, sensory-rich programs that support infants' and toddlers' holistic development
- Apply the Early Years Learning Framework to create a warm, secure, and stimulating nursery environment
- Track children's progress through observation and documentation, shaping meaningful individual and group experiences
- Foster strong, collaborative relationships with children, families, educators, and centre leadership
- Offer everyday guidance and leadership to the educators within your room
- Uphold high standards across compliance, documentation, safety, and professional conduct

- A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (essential)
- Previous experience in a Room Leader position or lead educator role
- A track record of delivering nurturing, play-based learning experiences for our youngest children
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building abilities
- Solid understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards, and related regulations
- A genuine commitment to children's safety and child-safe practices
- Current NSW Working with Children Check, First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification (ACECQA-approved), Child Protection Training, Food Handling Certificate, and completed Gecko Training
