Build an OT role around your strengths—and a life on the Clarence Coast

Whether you’re a new graduate looking for structured support, an established Occupational Therapist wanting greater flexibility, or an experienced clinician ready to mentor and lead, we’d love to hear from you. Dauntless is growing its multidisciplinary allied health team in the Clarence Valley. We’re looking for an Occupational Therapist to support clients across Maclean, Grafton and the surrounding area.

There is no single “ideal” level of experience for this position. We can shape the role around your clinical interests, strengths and career goals.

You might enjoy

- Therapy and capacity building
- Functional capacity and other assessments
- Report writing
- Working with children, adolescents, adults—or a mixed caseload
- Autism and neurodiversity-affirming practice
- Mental health
- Supporting people with disability
- Supervising and mentoring clinicians
- Clinical leadership and service development

You don’t need to fit into every category. Tell us what you’re good at, what you enjoy and where you’d like your career to go.

Why join Dauntless?

A role that fits you

Not every OT wants the same caseload or career path—and that’s okay. We’ll work with you to develop a role that reflects your experience and interests. That could mean building confidence as a new graduate, developing a clinical specialty, creating a balanced mixed caseload, or stepping into mentoring and leadership.

Both full-time and part-time arrangements are available, with flexibility around how your working week is structured.

Support at every career stage

If you’re a new graduate or early-career OT, you’ll receive:

- Structured onboarding and gradual caseload progression
- Regular supervision and mentoring
- Opportunities to observe experienced clinicians
- Time to develop your assessment, therapy and report-writing skills
- A supportive environment where questions are encouraged
- Access to multidisciplinary knowledge and collaboration

If you’re an established clinician, you’ll have:

- Autonomy to shape your caseload around your strengths
- Opportunities to deepen or broaden your clinical interests
- Regular peer collaboration and professional development
- Strong administrative support
- Flexibility and a sustainable approach to clinical work
- Scope to contribute to programs, projects and service development

If you’re an experienced or senior OT, we can offer:

- Mentoring and supervision opportunities
- Clinical leadership and discipline-development responsibilities
- Input into systems, programs and the direction of the OT service
- The ability to retain a clinical caseload aligned with your interests
- A pathway that recognises your experience without forcing you into a purely managerial role

Work within a genuinely multidisciplinary team

Dauntless supports children, adolescents and adults across regional NSW. Our team includes occupational therapists, psychologists, behaviour support practitioners and support staff. We work together to provide practical, coordinated support for people with disability and broader allied health needs.

You’ll have access to

- Weekly peer collaboration
- Monthly supervision
- Internal training and professional development
- Experienced multidisciplinary colleagues
- Strong administrative support, so you can focus on clinical work

A workplace that feels human

We care about creating a workplace where clinicians feel supported, connected and excited about their work.

Our team culture includes

- Weekly catered staff lunches
- Monthly staff wellbeing events
- Flexible working arrangements
- A fully stocked office kitchen
- A collaborative and approachable team
- Opportunities to contribute ideas and help shape recent programs

We value high-quality work, but we also understand that clinicians do their best work when their roles are sustainable and they have a life outside the office.

Build your career on the Clarence Coast

Serve clients across Maclean and Grafton while enjoying the lifestyle of the Clarence Valley—close to beaches, rivers, national parks and welcoming regional communities. The area offers meaningful professional opportunities without the long commutes and pace of a major city. Whether you already call the Clarence Valley home or you’re considering a sea change, this is an opportunity to build a rewarding career while enjoying more space for life outside work.

About you

We’d like to hear from you if you have:
- A degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current AHPRA registration, or eligibility for registration
- A current driver’s licence
- A commitment to respectful, person-centred practice
- An interest in working collaboratively with clients, families and other professionals

Applications are welcome from:
- New graduates
- Early-career OTs
- Mid-career clinicians
- Experienced and senior OTs
- OTs returning to the profession
- Clinicians relocating to the Clarence Valley

Experience with every client group or service listed in this advertisement is not required. We’re interested in what you can bring to the team and how we can support your next stage of development.

Apply

If you’re looking for meaningful work, genuine professional support and the opportunity to shape a role around your strengths, we’d love to hear from you. Please apply through SEEK with your résumé and a short cover letter telling us:
- Your preferred full-time or part-time arrangement
- The areas of occupational therapy you most enjoy—or would like to develop
- What you’re looking for in your next role

If you’d like to learn more before applying, please contact Dauntless for a confidential conversation. A detailed position description and further information about the available career pathways can also be provided.
