An chance exists for an experienced Estimator to join our Fredon Air WA Construction team on a full-time basis located in Bayswater . Reporting to the Estimating Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for building relationships with our clients, identifying new business opportunities as part of the estimating function with a focus on growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

n

Prepare estimates, quantities, prices and costings for a wide range of projects.

n

Determine key variables for cost and other estimates and perform risk analysis.

n

Gathering first-hand information from sites

n

Deliver complete and profitable estimates and tender submissions simultaneously

n

Manage time and processes (activity definitions, sequencing, duration estimations, schedule development and control process monitoring)

n

Create, present and submit estimate reports or bids to appropriate persons, including Project Managers and clients

n

Assist in the preparation of the technical submission.

n





Maintain cost database and technical knowledge.

n

Understanding project/program and requirements

n

Build relationships with key vendors including subcontractors, suppliers and engineers.

n

Other responsibilities as directed by the Management, including financial and commercial.

n

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience;

n

3 plus years of experience as an Estimator within the commercial trade and construction industry.

n

HVAC trade background is advantageous

n

Be highly organised with excellent time management skills

n

Have excellent communication and collaboration skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders

n

Ability to interpret technical HVAC drawings

n

Experience in initiating and managing estimating processes and controls

n

Intermediate to advanced experience in Microsoft Office suite

n

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

n

Ability to work independently and within a team environment

n

Drivers licence and white card

n
