The National Institute of Circus Arts (NICA) is currently looking for a Casual Supervisor to join our NICA Rec Team!

The NICA Rec Supervisor is a casual position with engagements over Monday to Thursday evenings (approximately 4 – 4.5 hours per engagement) and Saturdays (approximately 6 hours per engagement) during school term and Monday to Saturday (approximately 6 hours per engagement between 9am-4pm) during school holiday periods.

They play an integral role in ensuring the ongoing safety of our public circus programs and are key in the smooth operation of classes and training programs across weeknights, Saturdays, and holiday periods.



Working closely with both the production department and NICA Rec team, the Supervisor is required to assist with the management of classes, space allocation, rigging and safety processes and, equipment use.

The Supervisor will also work closely with NICA’s circus training staff and public, so we are looking for a friendly, super organised, circus professional with a valuable eye for detail who likes working as part of a small team.
