You'll inherit a capable team of three and a significant portfolio of high-value operational contracts, but the chance is much bigger than BAU contract management.

The organisation is looking for someone who can bring fresh commercial thinking, identify where greater value can be achieved and help mature the way operational contracts are managed across the business.

That could mean improving the structure and performance of an existing contract, challenging expenditure, strengthening supplier accountability or identifying areas where a more strategic contractual approach could deliver considerably better value.

You'll have the backing and autonomy to ask:

How can we do this better?

We're looking for an experienced contracts leader with strengths across commercial negotiation, contract optimisation, supplier performance, cost and value analysis, stakeholder management and continuous improvement.

You'll also lead an established team of capable operators,



making this an opportunity to develop and uplift a function rather than inherit a people-management problem.

Your background could be in utilities, infrastructure, government, government-owned organisations, councils or the private sector. Experience operating in a complex, regulated or highly governed environment will be particularly valuable.

$117,000 – $130,000 + 15.5% superannuation.
