Position Details
- Part-Time, Maximum Term Contract until 22 October 2027 (Parental Leave coverage)
- Classification: SCHADS Level 2with a salary range of $71,650 - $78,190 per annum pro rata+ Superannuation

About your new role The Operational Support Officer plays a key role in the smooth functioning of the YES Perth South service by providing high-quality, responsive administrative support to the multidisciplinary team. Working closely with the Clinical Services Manager and staff across clinical and peer roles, the Operational Support Officer helps ensure that day-to-day operations run efficiently and in alignment with youth-friendly, trauma-informed service principles. This role is responsible for a wide range of administrative functions including scheduling, data entry, purchasing, coordination of onboarding processes, and support for reporting and quality systems. The Operational Support Officer will also contribute to creating a welcoming, organised and developmentally appropriate environment for young people and families accessing the service.
What you will bring to the role
- Sound computer literacy (including Microsoft Teams, Word and Excel).
- Experience in providing administrative support.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively and cooperatively as a member of a team and autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Excellent time management skills with an ability to organise and prioritise work tasks effectively.
- Ability to establish respectful professional relationships that have clear boundaries with consumers, staff and partner organisations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Ability to relate to people in an open, friendly and professional manner.
- Strong capacity to engage effectively when working with discomfort, distress and people experiencing crisis.
- National Criminal History Check (police check) - disclosable outcomes considered
- Current Working with Children Check
