About The Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Multi-Skilled Civil Operators to join our Resource Development team at Blacksmith Operations. This is a 2/1 FIFO from Perth.

The project involves access track and drill pad construction and maintenance, vegetation clearing, earthworks, road maintenance, rehabilitation works and general support activities across the Resource Development area.

We are seeking operators with strong capability across two or more of the following machines:

- Dozer - experienced in clearing, bulk earthworks, trimming, and rehabilitation
- Grader - competent in constructing and maintaining internal access roads
- Excavator - clearing, loading, rehabilitation, and general earthworks
- Loader - clearing, load-and-carry and general civil works




- Watercart - road maintenance, dust suppression, and civil support activities

About you

- Demonstrated civil, mining or Resource Development operating experience
- Verified competency on at least two relevant machines
- Strong commitment to safety and equipment care
- Ability to work independently in remote operating areas
- Experience working around drill programs, exploration areas or rehabilitation projects is highly regarded
- Competent in daily pre-starts, hazard identification, and basic machine inspections
- Ability to work effectively within a small, multi-skilled crew

Key Requirements

- Current Australian driver’s licence
- Relevant machinery competencies
- Construction White Card
- HR licence for watercart positions
- Ability to complete a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
- Fortescue site experience and current inductions will be highly regarded
