About the Role

Your role will involve providing exceptional customer service and assisting patients throughout their optical journey.

Your responsibilities may include

- Assisting customers with frame selection and eyewear styling
- Dispensing and fitting spectacles
- Taking measurements and ensuring accurate frame fitting
- Adjustments,



repairs and general eyewear maintenance
- Assisting with frame and lens selection
- Providing friendly, professional patient care
- Processing orders and liaising with laboratories and suppliers
- Maintaining the presentation of the practice
- General optical reception and administration duties

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

- Friendly, approachable and genuinely enjoys helping people
- Passionate about providing excellent customer service
- Skilled, reliable and well organised
- Confident communicating with patients of all ages
- A team player who enjoys working in a close-knit environment
- Keen to learn and develop their optical knowledge

Previous optical dispensing or optical assistant experience is preferred, however, we are happy to consider the right person with a strong customer service background and a willingness to learn.

The Hours

Flexible hours available – Monday to Friday only. We understand that life outside of work matters, so we are happy to discuss hours and days that suit both you and the practice.

No weekend work required.
