About the Role We’re looking for an Order Management Coordinator to join our dynamic and fast-paced IT distribution team. If you thrive on organisation, enjoy problem-solving, and like working across multiple teams and vendors, this is the role for you.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring customer orders are processed efficiently and accurately — managing the shared inbox, allocating orders, escalating issues,
and supporting the team to keep everything running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and prioritise the shared order inbox to ensure timely allocation of customer orders.
- Review incoming purchase orders for accuracy and completeness before assigning them to the right internal person or team.
- Assist with order entry and data accuracy to support customers and the team.
- Identify and escalate order-related issues to relevant departments or team leader for quick resolution.
- Forward post-sales queries to the appropriate teams and follow up as needed.
- Respond to simple customer and vendor queries regarding order status, deliveries, and documentation.
- Maintain and manage team folders and shared resources to ensure information is organised and up to date.
- Provide team support and coverage during periods of leave, ensuring requests are actioned and workflow continues smoothly.
- Work collaboratively with Sales, Procurement, Logistics, Credit, and Support teams to maintain efficiency and accuracy.
- Contribute to process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and operational performance
About You
Desired Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in order management, sales operations,
or administration - ideally within the IT or technology industry
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and time management skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume workplace with multiple priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, with experience in ERP or CRM systems.
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a can-do attitude and willingness to help where needed.
