About The Role

n

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Urgent Care team. You will provide high-quality nursing support, conduct timely patient triage, identify deterioration and work closely with Urgent Care Medical Practitioners to deliver excellent patient care.

Your Responsibilities

n

n
- Act as the first point of contact and conduct accurate, timely nursing triage.
n
- Assess patients, prioritise care and identify/escalate emergencies or deterioration.
n
- Deliver hands‐on clinical care including wound care, suturing, plastering and assisting with procedures.
n
- Provide compassionate,



patient‐centred care in collaboration with patients, families and medical practitioners.
n
- Support patients with health education and achieving positive clinical outcomes.
n
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
n
- Contribute to workplace health, safety and quality initiatives.
n
- Adapt confidently to a fast‐paced and changing Urgent Care environment.
n

About You

n

n
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
n
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Registered Nurse.
n
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Emergency, triage, ICU/CCU or rural/remote nursing.
n
- Previous triage, emergency or remote nursing experience preferred.
n
- Strong clinical assessment and escalation skills.
n
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
n
- Ability to work autonomously, delegate appropriately and work effectively within a team.
n
- Passion for patient‐centred care.
n
- Availability to work evenings and weekends.
n
