We are looking for a super organised permanent Packer to join our team packing wholesale bread orders.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

- Accurately pick pack bread & pastry orders from packing slip
- Accurately pack bread, pastry and pie orders ready for delivery to Flour Water Salt cafes
- Slice bread according to packing slip
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the packing room
- Identify and implement process improvements in packing room

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work accurately and quickly
- Organised and experience in logistics
- Strong literacy and numeracy to read packing slips and instructions
- Previous bakery experience beneficial so you can easily identify products
- Positive physical fitness to be able to lift heavy things




- Able to work unsupervised and to a schedule
- Willing to commit to the role for at least a year, ideally 2-3 years
- THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT A SEMI RETIRED PERSON.

SHIFTS:

Variety of shifts available

- Fri 7pm – 10/11pm
- Occasional other night shifts (Mon-Thurs) to cover other staff holidays

Award rates and opportunity for more shifts for the right person.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $36.15 per hour

- Warehouse: 1 year (Required)

- Full Driver Licence (Required)
