We are currently supporting one of our established clients with a long-term project requirement in Kalgoorlie and are looking to speak with experienced Paint & Blast Supervisors available to mobilise as soon as possible.
About Our Client:
Our client is an established engineering and construction contractor delivering major projects across the Western Australian resources sector. They are currently seeking an experienced Paint & Blast Supervisor to join their team on the KCGM Project in Kalgoorlie.
Role Overview:
This is a long-term opportunity working a 2:1 roster, 12-hour days, with approximately 12 months of project work available and an ASAP start. You will be responsible for supervising paint and blast activities on site, coordinating crews and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day paint and blast activities across the project
- Coordinate crews, work fronts and daily task allocation
- Conduct pre-starts and ensure personnel understand daily work requirements
- Monitor safety, quality and productivity across site activities
- Ensure work is carried out in accordance with project procedures and specifications
- Liaise with site management and other disciplines to coordinate works
- Maintain a strong field presence and address issues as they arise
- Support delivery of project targets, schedules and quality requirements
Requirements:
- Previous experience supervising paint and blast activities
- Strong experience working within mining, construction or major project environments
- S26 Statutory Supervisor qualification – essential
- Strong understanding of site safety requirements and supervisory responsibilities
- Ability to lead crews and coordinate multiple work activities
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Available to work a 2:1 FIFO roster
- Available for an ASAP mobilisation

- Approx. $165K base salary + 35% site uplift
