About the role

NAC Painting is seeking a skilled Painter to join our team on a contract basis. This role is based in Coffs Harbour, NSW 2450 and offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse painting projects within our growing business. As a Painter, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality finishes that meet our clients' expectations and contribute to the reputation NAC Painting has built in the local community.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling and priming walls, ceilings and other surfaces to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Advanced in spraying
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and client specifications

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as a Painter
- Strong knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation and paint application methods
- Proficiency with painting tools and equipment, including brushes, rollers, spray equipment
- Ability to read and interpret specifications, plans and client requirements accurately
- A keen eye for detail and commitment to delivering high-quality finishes
- Physical fitness and the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Current and valid driver's licence
- Strong work ethic, reliability and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in painting or surface preparation would be advantageous
