Love keeping parks, gardens and reserves looking their best? We want experienced Horticulturists and Reserve Attendants on our team for a local council in Rockingham!

These are great opportunities for people who enjoy working outdoors and take pride in keeping parks, gardens, reserves and public spaces looking their best.

Depending on the position, you’ll be completing a range of horticultural and grounds maintenance duties including mowing, pruning, planting, weeding, mulching, turf maintenance, brush cutting, litter collection and general reserve upkeep. You’ll also operate a range of gardening machinery, vehicles and equipment.

What you’ll need Horticulturist:

- Cert III in Horticulture or relevant horticultural experience
- Commercial horticulture, parks or gardens experience
- Current C Class Driver’s Licence
- White Card
- Good knowledge of plants, pruning, turf and general horticultural practices




- Experience operating horticultural machinery and equipment
- Chemical Spray Ticket highly regarded

Reserve Attendant:

- Previous parks, gardens, grounds maintenance or similar experience
- Current C Class Driver’s Licence
- White Card
- Experience operating ride-on mowers, brush cutters and other grounds maintenance equipment
- Chemical Spray Ticket and horticultural qualifications highly regarded
- Ability to work outdoors and undertake physically demanding duties

If successful, you will be required to:

- Unlimited work rights in Australia
- Complete a Drug & Alcohol screening
- Provide a recent National Police Check, or be willing to obtain one
- Meet all relevant council pre-employment requirement
