About the role

As one of the first points of contact for our patients, you will play an important role in ensuring they feel welcomed and well cared for from the moment they arrive. This is an excellent chance for someone who enjoys working with people and would like to become part of a welcoming and professional specialist medical practice.

Key responsibilities

- Greeting patients and providing a warm and professional reception experience
- Answering and managing telephone and patient enquiries
- Scheduling and managing patient appointments
- Processing payments and Medicare transactions
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Liaising with doctors, patients and other healthcare providers
- General reception and administrative duties
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice

About you

- Warm, friendly and professional
- Well presented with excellent communication skills
- Organised and able to manage competing priorities
- Confident using computers and learning new systems




- Discreet and respectful when handling confidential patient information
- Reliable, punctual and able to work both independently and as part of a small team
- Previous experience working within a medical practice, specialist clinic or similar healthcare environment would be highly regarded but is not essential
