Part-Time Kitchen Staff – Japanese Restaurant in Green Square

MISO Japanese Teishoku Restaurant, located near Green Square Station—just one stop from Central Station on the T8 Line—is currently seeking part-time kitchen staff.

We are a casual Japanese restaurant serving healthy, high-quality and affordable teishoku set meals. Our menu includes crispy tonkatsu, fresh seafood dishes and a wide variety of bento boxes, all served in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

Working Hours

Lunch shift: 10:00 am–2:30 pm

Applicants who can work five or more days per week are highly encouraged to apply.

Dinner shift: 5:00 pm–9:30 pm

Applicants who can work five or more days per week are highly encouraged to apply.

Applicants who are available for lunch shifts only, dinner shifts only or both shifts are welcome to apply.

Requirements

- Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is preferred
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team
- Applicants who can make a long-term commitment will be given preference

Pay

Starting rate:



Restaurant Industry Award introductory rate – $25.74 per hour

Saturday rate: $32.18 per hour

Pay will progress in accordance with the Restaurant Industry Award.

The final rate may be negotiable depending on experience and skills.

Trial and Initial Assessment Period

- Two-hour unpaid skills trial conducted under direct supervision
- A paid two-week initial assessment period to review performance and work attitude
