About the role

This is a customer-focused technical sales role for someone who values accuracy, responsiveness and practical expertise. You will build strong customer relationships, understand their operational requirements and recommend the most suitable solutions for their applications.

Key responsibilities

- Manage in-person, telephone, email, website and online sales enquiries.
- Accurately interpret and supply Cummins and aftermarket spare parts.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend the most suitable solutions.
- Prepare clear, accurate and timely quotations.
- Maintain proactive communication throughout the quotation and ordering process.
- Follow up outstanding quotations and customer enquiries.
- Assist customers with online orders and digital enquiries.
- Identify upselling and value-add opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with Torquepower's sales, warehouse and technical teams.
- Contribute to a supportive, team-focused working environment.

About you

- Formal Parts Interpreter qualifications will be highly regarded.
- Previous experience in heavy-duty parts interpreting, technical sales or a related role.
- Cummins or Kenworth product and technical knowledge will also be highly regarded.
- Alternatively, experience as a technician working with Cummins or other heavy-duty diesel engines.
- A genuine customer-first mindset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence using digital systems and technical resources,



including QuickServe Online.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a close-knit team of experienced specialists.
- A practical, resourceful and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
