About the role The Parts Interpreter is responsible for providing accurate and efficient parts interpretation and exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers. The role involves identifying, sourcing and supplying parts and accessories in a timely manner while maintaining strong working relationships with customers, suppliers and workshop personnel.

The Parts

Interpreter is also responsible for assisting in achieving departmental sales and gross profit targets while maintaining dealership standards and procedures.

Key responsibilities

- Greet customers promptly and courteously
- Provide accurate and timely parts interpretation
- Respond to customer enquiries professionally and efficiently
- Follow up and resolve customer concerns promptly
- Maintain solid customer relationships
- Assist in achieving department sales and gross profit targets
- Identify opportunities to upsell parts and accessories
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently




- Source and procure non-stock items as required
- Assist with stock control and stocktakes

About you

- Previous experience in a Parts Interpreter or customer service role
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Sound computer and inventory management skills
- Ability to prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated reliability, initiative and professionalism
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work
- Sound and accurate judgment
- Works ethically and with integrity
- Respects confidentiality and approaches others in a diplomatic and tactful manner
