About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Retail Sales Specialist to join our Broome retail team.

Based across our iconic Broome locations, including Chinatown, Cable Beach and Willie Creek Pearl Farm, this role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with people, delivering memorable customer experiences and achieving outstanding sales results.

You will become a trusted ambassador for the Willie Creek Pearls brand, developing an intimate knowledge of our Australian South Sea Pearl jewellery collections, pearl grading, product features, stock holdings and custom order options. Your ability to confidently guide customers through their purchasing journey and match products to individual needs will be fundamental to your success.

Willie Creek Pearls operates seven days a week, so this position involves regular weekend work, as well as occasional evening work for special events and promotions.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver exceptional customer service and personalised sales experiences
- Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets
- Build strong customer relationships and create repeat business opportunities
- Develop and maintain expert knowledge of Willie Creek Pearls jewellery collections, stock holdings, pearl grading systems and bespoke ordering options




- Confidently present and sell our jewellery collections and tourism experiences
- Promote the Willie Creek Pearls story and brand values to customers from around the world
- Maintain high standards of showroom presentation and visual merchandising
- Assist with opening, closing and day-to-day showroom operations
- Support special events, promotional activities and showroom functions

What You Bring

- Previous experience in retail sales, preferably within jewellery, luxury goods, tourism or hospitality
- A proven ability to build rapport, identify customer needs and confidently close sales
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills
- High attention to detail and pride in personal presentation
- Strong computer and point-of-sale system skills
- A willingness and ability to develop and maintain an intimate understanding of product ranges, stock availability, pearl quality characteristics and custom order options
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team setting
- Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and occasional evening events

Desirable Experience The following would be highly regarded, but are not essential:

- Jewellery sales experience
- Knowledge of pearls or the pearling industry
- Tourism, hospitality or experience-based sales backgrounds
- Experience working in a target-driven retail environment
