Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned SAP BTP Integration Specialist to join a high-impact S/4HANA Rise with SAP Implementation Project for a leading Australian customer in the utilities/local government domain.

This role involves defining integration architecture, leading interface design, and ensuring seamless connectivity across SAP and non-SAP systems. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and play a key role in driving enterprise transformation.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Define end-to-end integration architecture using SAP BTP Integration Suite.
n
- Lead design, configuration, and deployment of iFlows, APIs, and Events across S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, and third-party systems.
n
- Establish integration standards, conduct design/code reviews, and ensure compliance with SAP and security best practices.
n
- Prepare technical documentation and ensure adherence to organizational security standards.
n
- Collaborate with functional, basis, and development teams; manage dependencies; and support SIT, UAT, and cutover phases.
n

Must-Have Skills

n

n
- Strong hands-on experience with Cloud Integration (CPI),



API Management, and Event Mesh.
n
- Integration expertise with SAP S/4HANA (RISE with SAP) Cloud or Private Edition and other SAP/non-SAP systems.
n
- Deep understanding of iFlows, OData, IDocs, RFCs, SOAP/REST APIs, OAuth2.0/SAML authentication.
n
- Proficiency in CPI monitoring tools, message mapping, exception handling, and troubleshooting.
n
- Ability to translate business requirements into integration specifications.
n

Good-to-Have Skills

n

- Knowledge of SAP API Management / SAP Integration Suite for advanced scenarios.
n
- Experience with event-driven architectures using SAP Event Mesh or similar platforms.
n
- Familiarity with SAP BTP extensions to extend CPI or build apps.
