Longview Vineyard is seeking passionate and reliable Chefsto join our kitchen team at our award-winning wedding venue and cellar door.

n

We operate a cellar door restaurant from 11am – 4pm, 7 days a week, and host weddings and private events year-round, so weekends and evenings are a must. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic, supportive team in a picturesque vineyard setting.

What you'll be doing

n

You'll work across both the cellar door and events, supporting our wider kitchen team to deliver high-quality, seasonal food with a solid focus on local produce.

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
- Prepare and cook a variety of Italian inspired dishes to a high standard
n
- Assist in all aspects of kitchen operations, including prep, service, and cleaning
n
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment
n
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced setting, both independently and as part of a team
n
- Assist with functions, weddings, and special events (including evenings as required)
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- Proven experience in a similar role (restaurant or events)
n




- Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude
n
- Available for weekend, weekday, and evening shifts as required
n
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible with availability
n
- A passion for food and hospitality, and an eye for detail
n
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (desirable but not essential)
n
- Food Safety Certification and knowledge of kitchen hygiene best practices
n
