The Opportunity

Agilitus is looking for a People & Culture Lead to join their growing team, based on the Terrace.

It’s a broad role with plenty of exposure, leading a small P&C; team and acting as the operational 2IC to the P&C; Manager. The timing is what makes it particularly interesting. The business is in a growth and build phase, so there is a real chance to get in, help shape the P&C; function and be part of what comes next.

This role is ideally suited to an experienced People & Culture professional who enjoys leading operational delivery, coaching a small team and partnering closely with senior leaders. As the operational 2IC to the P&C; Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring the People & Culture function runs effectively day-to-day while contributing to the future growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the day-to-day delivery of People & Culture operations across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring a consistent and positive employee experience
- Lead, coach and develop the People & Culture team, building capability and ensuring high-quality service delivery to the business
- Partner with leaders across the business to provide practical advice on employee relations, performance management, workplace investigations, conduct matters, grievances and employment legislation
- Oversee onboarding, probation, organisational changes, promotions, transfers, remuneration changes and offboarding processes
- Support workforce planning,



talent management and succession activities to ensure the business has the capability required for growth
- Drive continuous improvement of People & Culture systems, processes, policies and reporting to improve efficiency, compliance and the employee experience
- Monitor and maintain compliance with employment legislation, awards, policies and internal governance requirements
- Analyse people data and trends to provide insights and recommendations to business leaders
- Contribute to key People & Culture initiatives and projects, supporting the ongoing evolution of the function as the business continues to grow

You'll Bring

- 7+ years' experience in a Human Resources or People & Culture generalist role, with demonstrated experience managing the full employee lifecycle
- Previous experience leading, mentoring and developing a small People & Culture team
- Strong employee relations capability, including performance management, investigations, disciplinary processes, workplace complaints and conflict resolution
- A sound understanding of Australian employment legislation, modern awards and HR best practice
- Experience partnering with leaders to navigate people challenges and build leadership capability
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a rapid-paced environment
- Experience improving processes, implementing initiatives and driving operational excellence across People & Culture
- Confident communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels of the business
- A pragmatic, hands-on approach with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get things done
