The Prospect

We’re looking for an experienced Performance Engineer to join CloudMarc for an upcoming client engagement.

This is a hands-on engineering role requiring strong performance testing expertise with JMeter, combined with practical Playwright automation experience.

You’ll work closely with engineering, quality and delivery teams to design and execute performance testing while contributing to broader test automation across modern web applications and APIs.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Design, develop and maintain performance test scripts using Apache JMeter
- Execute load, stress, scalability and endurance testing
- Analyse performance results and identify application or infrastructure bottlenecks
- Develop and maintain automated tests using Playwright
- Perform API and integration-level performance testing
- Work with developers and engineering teams to investigate performance issues




- Integrate performance and automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor and report key performance metrics, trends and risks
- Contribute to continuous improvement across Quality Engineering practices

What We’re Looking For

- Strong commercial experience in Performance Engineering / Performance Testing
- Advanced hands-on experience with Apache JMeter
- Commercial automation experience using Playwright
- Strong understanding of web application and API testing
- Experience designing performance test scenarios and workload models
- Ability to analyse test results and diagnose performance bottlenecks
- Experience working with CI/CD and modern engineering environments
- Solid understanding of software testing and Quality Engineering practices
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills

Highly Regarded

Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, API automation, cloud environments, observability/APM tools and large-scale enterprise applications will be highly regarded.
