About the role

You will be responsible for providing professional grooming services while ensuring every dog receives protected, gentle and attentive care.

Key responsibilities

- Full grooming, clipping and styling for a variety of dog breeds
- Bathing, blow-drying, brushing and de-shedding
- Nail trimming, ear cleaning and general coat care
- Assessing coat and skin condition before grooming
- Discussing grooming requirements with customers
- Providing recommendations based on the dog's breed, coat condition and lifestyle
- Maintaining a clean, hygienic and organised grooming area
- Cleaning and sanitising grooming equipment between appointments
- Handling dogs safely and calmly throughout the grooming process
- Monitoring dogs for signs of stress or discomfort

About you

- Previous professional dog grooming experience
- Confident completing full grooms independently
- Good knowledge of different breeds, coat types and grooming techniques
- Strong animal handling skills
- Patient,



gentle and comfortable working with dogs of different sizes and temperaments
- Reliable, responsible and punctual
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
