Opportunities are available on either a permanent part-time basis (57 hours per fortnight) or a fixed-term part time contract concluding in January 2027 (48 hours per fortnight). What You’ll Do

Slade Pharmacy East Toowoomba offers a vibrant and rewarding environment where leadership, adaptability, and customer service excellence come together. As a Pharmacy Technician, you’ll actively contribute to both the retail and dispensary functions of the pharmacy. This includes engaging with customers in retail pharmacy, assisting with medication supply, and supporting the dispensary team as needed.

Key responsibilities

- Support and coordinate daily retail pharmacy operations, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent customer service.
- Assist in dispensing and supplying medications under pharmacist supervision, maintaining accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain high standards of presentation,



stock management, and patient care across both dispensary and retail areas.
- Process sales transactions and respond to customer and account queries professionally and efficiently.
- Ensure timely and accurate provision of medications and information to patients and hospital staff.
- Provide friendly and knowledgeable support to patients, carers, and clinical teams, contributing to a collaborative and service-focused environment.

Shift information We offer flexibility in how your fortnightly hours are worked; however, availability for the following core shifts is essential:
- A 5-hour shift on Saturdays.
- A 3-hour shift on Sundays.
- The remaining contracted hours will be rostered across weekdays, with most shifts finishing at 5:00pm.

What You’ll Bring We’re looking for an experienced Pharmacy Technician or Assistant who enjoys working in a customer-focused retail environment and is confident supporting dispensary operations. A positive attitude and willingness to work across both areas is essential. Essential requirements [DQ1] [DQ2] :

- Minimum 1 year of experience in Australian pharmacy retail operations and/or dispensary pharmacy.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Valid Australian working rights.
- Availability to work the required weekday and weekend roster.

Desirable skills and experience
- Certificate III or IV in Community Pharmacy or equivalent.
