About the role

Amaroo Care Services Inc is seeking a Physiotherapist to join our dedicated Residential team on a casual basis. Based in Gosnells this role offers the flexibility of casual work whilst providing meaningful therapeutic support to our clients. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality rehabilitation and mobility services, helping clients achieve their health and wellness goals and maintain independence in their daily lives.

Key responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments to evaluate client mobility, functional capacity, and to develop individualised care plans, and risk assessments.
- Deliver evidence based physiotherapy interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional retraining.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment strategies as required to optimise outcomes.
- Provide client education on exercise programmes, pain management, and strategies to prevent further injury or deterioration.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation and progress notes in line with professional standards.
- Provide clinical guidance and support to the Physiotherapy Assistant and Therapy staff in developing and implementing Physiotherapy and therapy programs.




- Contribute to a safe and supportive therapeutic environment that promotes client wellbeing providing and provide training and education on Manual Handling and falls management.

What we're looking for

- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Physiotherapist.
- Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification recognised in Australia.
- Demonstrated experience in physiotherapy practice, preferably in rehabilitation or community health settings
- Strong clinical knowledge of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
- Excellent assessment and treatment planning skills with the ability to adapt approaches to individual client needs.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex information to clients in an accessible manner
- Ability to work autonomously whilst maintaining professional standards and best practice guidelines
- A compassionate approach to client care with a genuine commitment to improving quality of life

We offer a competitive salary with 25% casual loading, super and the ability to salary sacrifice up to $18,550 per annum. We are located in a peaceful Gosnells location, skip the city traffic, free parking, on site cafe.
