ATS Rehab is a specialised, Brisbane-based rehabilitation provider with clinics across the southside and greater Brisbane. We deliver evidence-based hand and upper-limb therapy, musculoskeletal physiotherapy, vestibular rehabilitation, exercise rehabilitation and return-to-work services.
Our team works closely with surgeons, GPs, allied health professionals, employers and insurers to provide coordinated care from acute injury and post-operative rehabilitation through to return to work, sport and everyday activity.
We are a collaborative team of physiotherapists and hand therapists who value sound clinical reasoning, practical exercise-based rehabilitation, clear communication and meaningful functional outcomes. Clinicians have the opportunity to manage diverse and clinically rewarding caseloads while working alongside experienced upper-limb and hand therapy practitioners.
Role description
We are seeking a full-time Physiotherapist to join ATS Rehab and work across our Brisbane clinic network.
This is an opportunity for a clinician who enjoys varied musculoskeletal and orthopaedic practice, wants to develop strong rehabilitation skills, and values being part of a supportive, experienced team. You will manage patients across the rehabilitation continuum—from prehabilitation and acute injury management to post-operative care, gym-based rehabilitation, return-to-work planning and return to sport.
Your caseload will include a mix of musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, upper-limb and workplace-related presentations. You will independently assess, diagnose and manage patients using evidence-based physiotherapy,
while collaborating closely with hand therapists, physiotherapists, surgeons, GPs, employers, insurers and other referrers.
Key responsibilities include
- Conducting thorough subjective and objective assessments and forming clear working diagnoses.
- Developing and progressing individualised, exercise-based rehabilitation plans.
- Delivering appropriate hands-on treatment, education and self-management strategies.
- Supporting pre-operative, post-operative, gym-based and functional rehabilitation.
- Managing WorkCover and insurer-funded patients, including clear clinical documentation and communication with relevant stakeholders.
- Monitoring outcomes, adjusting plans and supporting safe, sustainable return to work, sport and everyday function.
- Contributing to a positive clinical culture through case discussions, in-services and ongoing career development.
What we offer
- Full-time role with a salary of $95,000–$100,000 , commensurate with experience.
- Travel reimbursement of $0.99/km when required to work between locations.
- Standard weekday business hours, with no routine weekend, evening, night or on-call work .+1

About you You are an engaged and capable physiotherapist who can combine independent clinical reasoning with a collaborative approach. You communicate clearly, build rapport easily and take ownership of patient outcomes.
Essential criteria
- Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist.
- Australian working rights.
- Demonstrated competence in musculoskeletal and orthopaedic assessment, diagnosis and rehabilitation.
- Strong exercise prescription, patient education and clinical documentation skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively and communicate professionally with patients, referrers and external stakeholders.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuing professional development.
- A current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle, given travel between clinics may be required.
Desirable criteria:
- Private-practice physiotherapy experience.
- Experience in workplace rehabilitation, insurer-funded care or WorkCover case management.
- An interest in hand and upper-limb rehabilitation, post-operative orthopaedics, vestibular physiotherapy or exercise rehabilitation.
- Experience managing functional rehabilitation and return-to-work programs.
