Planner, Maintenance - Eva Copper

Source: uWorkin Are you a highly organised maintenance planning professional with a passion for equipment reliability and operational excellence? Thiess is seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Planner to join our high-performing team at the Eva Copper Mine Project.

Responsibilities As a key member of the Eva Copper team, you'll be responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance activities across our mobile equipment fleet, ensuring safe, efficient and cost-effective maintenance execution to maximise equipment availability and reliability., As the Maintenance Planner, you will:

- Develop and maintain weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual maintenance plans for mobile plant and equipment in line with OEM recommendations and site maintenance strategies.
- Coordinate maintenance schedules, breakdown repairs, labour, parts, tools and resources to ensure maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently and with minimal disruption to production.
- Monitor equipment reliability, maintenance performance and planning effectiveness while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across site operations

The Eva Copper Mine Project is located on the traditional lands of the Kalkadoon People in North West Queensland, approximately 75 km north-west of Cloncurry and about 95 km north-east of Mount Isa.

The Project is an iron-oxide copper-gold resource featuring multiple open pits and is poised to become the largest greenfield copper mine in Queensland.

employment will be ongoing with Thiess, with recruitment and employment managed by Thiess.

About The Candidate

- Mechanical Trade Qualification (Diesel Fitter or similar) or relevant Engineering qualification.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a maintenance planning role within mining, resources or heavy industry.
- Strong knowledge of mobile plant maintenance practices and OEM maintenance requirements.
- Experience using maintenance planning, scheduling and asset management systems.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, compliance and environmental standards.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work effectively across Maintenance, Mining and Processing teams.
- Experience supporting reliability improvement initiatives, condition monitoring programs and maintenance strategy development.
