Plant Operator – Band 2 and Band 3

Moyne Shire Council is seeking motivated and capable plant operators to join our operations team in permanent full-time positions. If you are safety-focused, reliable and enjoy working outdoors as part of a team, we encourage you to apply.

We are seeking applicants across Band 2 and Band 3, with roles supporting our construction, maintenance, open space and spray sealing teams and contributing to road maintenance, construction, asset maintenance and sealing works across the shire.

Plant Operators will operate a range of plant and equipment, including rollers, tractors, slashers, graders, excavators, backhoes, loaders and sealing plant. The roles may also involve general labouring and traffic management duties.

Band 2

Applicants will require a current MR licence, experience working in an outdoor team environment, and a strong commitment to safe work practices and quality service delivery.

Band 3

Applicants will require a current HR licence, relevant plant competencies and demonstrated experience operating a range of plant safely and effectively.
