Plumber - Defence Maintenance & Projects

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Plumber to join our growing Defence Services team. Working across Defence facilities, you will be responsible for delivering a combination of reactive maintenance, preventative planned maintenance (PPM), compliance works, and small project installations.

This is a diverse role suited to a tradesperson who can work independently, manage their own workload, and maintain high standards of workmanship and professionalism while operating in secure environments.

Occasional regional travel and short-duration swings may be required as part of project and maintenance delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out preventative planned maintenance (PPM) activities.
- Attend and rectify reactive plumbing maintenance tasks.
- Deliver small plumbing projects, refurbishments, and upgrades.
- Diagnose faults and provide effective repair solutions.
- Complete compliance inspections and associated documentation.
- Liaise professionally with Defence representatives and stakeholders.




- Maintain a strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.
- Work autonomously while contributing to a wider service delivery team.

What We’re Looking For To be successful in this role, you will possess:

- Current Australian Plumbing Trade Qualification.
- Relevant Plumbing Licence.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in maintenance and facilities management environments.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
- Ability and willingness to travel regionally when required.
