Commercial Plumber | Temp to Perm Opportunity

Workpac are currently seeking 2x experienced Commercial Plumbers to join a growing team on a 6-month temp-to-permanent assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking for stable, long-term work across a variety of commercial projects.

About the Role

You will be working on a range of commercial plumbing projects, including:

- Service stations
- Cafés and hospitality venues
- High-rise developments
- Water, sewer, drainage, and trade waste systems

The successful candidate will have strong technical knowledge, a commitment to safety and quality, and the ability to work effectively within multi-trade construction environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Installation and maintenance of commercial plumbing systems
- Reading and interpreting hydraulic drawings and specifications
- Coordinating works with builders, subcontractors, and other trades
- Fault finding, testing, and commissioning of plumbing systems
- Ensuring all work complies with Australian Standards and regulatory requirements
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety, and environmental compliance
- Working efficiently to ensure projects are delivered on schedule

Essential Skills & Experience





- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Commercial Plumber
- Extensive experience in commercial plumbing projects

Strong understanding of:
- Australian plumbing standards
- Compliance requirements
- Backflow prevention systems
- Grease traps
- Environmental regulations
- Proven ability to work on complex commercial projects
- Solid problem-solving and fault-finding skills
- Experience testing and commissioning plumbing systems

Licences & Qualifications

- Current WA Plumbing Licence
- Trade Qualification
- White Card
- Driver's Licence (Manual)
- High Risk Licence

Roster & Hours

- Monday to Friday
- Day Shift
- 7:00am - 3:00pm
- 7.6-hour shifts

Employment Type

- 6-Month Temporary Assignment
- Opportunity to transition to permanent employment for the right candidate
