About Northern Rivers Podiatry
Since opening in 2018, Northern Rivers Podiatry has established itself as one of Australia's most progressive and technologically advanced private podiatry clinics. Our philosophy has always been simple:
To deliver world-class podiatry care through innovation, education, exceptional patient experiences, and continual investment in the future of our profession.
We've built a reputation throughout the Northern Rivers—and increasingly beyond—for combining evidence-based healthcare with cutting-edge technology and genuinely personalised patient care.
Unlike many clinics, we continually reinvest in our practice, ensuring both our patients and clinicians benefit from the latest advancements available in podiatry.
Today, Northern Rivers Podiatry proudly offers:
- Zebris FDM treadmill gait analysis and plantar pressure technology
- Advanced 3D digital foot scanning
- In-house CAD design and 3D printing of custom foot orthoses
- SWIFT® Pro Microwave Therapy
- Purpose-built orthotic manufacturing laboratory
- Modern consulting rooms and digital workflows
- Continuous investment in emerging technologies that improve patient outcomes
Our diverse patient base includes:
- General podiatry
- Sports and exercise medicine
- Lower limb biomechanics
- Paediatric podiatry
- NDIS participants
- Diabetes assessments
- Ingrown toenail surgery
- Custom orthotic therapy
- Footwear prescription
- Skin and dermatological treatments
Importantly, we are not a high-risk wound care clinic, allowing our clinicians to focus on movement, function, biomechanics and preventative care while making a genuine difference to people's quality of life.
Leading the Future of Digital & Sustainable Orthotic Manufacturing
Innovation at Northern Rivers Podiatry isn't simply about adopting new technology—it's about helping shape a better future for our profession. We are proud to work alongside iOrthotics to help pioneer the next generation of digital orthotic manufacturing in Australia.
Together, we are setting a new benchmark by integrating:
- Advanced biomechanical assessment
- 3D digital foot scanning
- CAD orthotic design
- In-house additive manufacturing (3D printing)
into one seamless digital workflow. Rather than relying on traditional subtractive manufacturing methods that have changed very little over the past several decades, we have embraced additive manufacturing—creating orthoses layer by layer using only the material required.
This represents a significant advancement for both patient care and environmental sustainability.
Our Commitment to Sustainability
As healthcare professionals, we believe innovation should improve not only patient outcomes but also reduce our environmental impact. Traditional polypropylene orthotic manufacturing removes large amounts of material during production, generating unnecessary waste.
Through our partnership with iOrthotics, rigid custom orthoses can be produced with almost zero manufacturing waste, resulting in approximately a 95% reduction in waste compared with traditional polypropylene manufacturing.
The result is orthoses that are:
- Lighter
- Thinner
- Stronger
- More precise
- Digitally repeatable
- Manufactured through a significantly more sustainable process
We're proud to be helping lead our profession towards environmentally responsible healthcare, demonstrating that innovation, sustainability and exceptional patient outcomes can work hand in hand.
Build a Career - Not Just Take a Job
We're not simply looking to employ another podiatrist. We're looking for someone who wants to build an exciting, long-term career alongside a passionate and progressive team.
As our clinic continues to grow, so do the opportunities for our clinicians.
