Skills And Experiences
About the Role
Reporting to the Executive Manager Quality, Risk and Practice, you will play a key role in supporting organisational quality, compliance and sustainability.
Your responsibilities will include
- Developing, reviewing and maintaining organisational policies, procedures and related documentation.
- Translating complex legislative, regulatory and policy information into practical guidance for staff.
- Monitoring legislative and regulatory changes and ensuring organisational documentation remains current and compliant.
- Facilitating consultation and collaboration across the organisation to support policy development and implementation.
- Researching, identifying and writing high-quality grant, funding and tender submissions aligned with organisational priorities and strategic goals.
- Supporting continuous improvement, governance and organisational learning initiatives.
This role would suit someone who enjoys balancing research, writing and analysis with relationship building and organisational improvement.
About You
You are a strong writer, strategic thinker and highly organised professional who enjoys turning ideas into practical outcomes.
You may have worked in policy, quality and compliance, governance,
community services, grants management, research, project management or a related field.
What you bring
- A tertiary qualification in Social Science, Social Policy, Human Services or a related discipline (or equivalent industry experience).
- Experience developing, reviewing and maintaining policies, procedures and organisational documentation.
- Experience in OOHC, Child and Family Services or NDIS Sectors will be highly regarded.
- Experience preparing high-quality grant applications, tenders or funding submissions.
- Strong research, analysis and written communication skills.
- The ability to interpret complex information and communicate it clearly for different audiences.
- Solid stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- A commitment to quality improvement, evidence-based practice and positive community outcomes.
