Role Description The Practice Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Canberra, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting and advisory practice. This role includes managing workflow, coordinating staff schedules, and ensuring client engagements are delivered efficiently and on time.

The Practice

Manager will supervise administrative processes, maintain quality and compliance standards, and support budgeting, billing, and resource allocation. The role also involves improving operational systems, supporting team development,



and collaborating with directors and advisors to enhance client service and practice performance.

Qualifications

- Experience in practice or office management within professional services (e.g., accounting, legal, advisory) and robust organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency with practice management or CRM systems, and confidence using standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office or similar tools).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with team members and clients.
- Demonstrated ability to streamline processes, manage workflows, and maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in business, management, accounting, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with basic financial administration such as billing, invoicing, and reporting; familiarity with accounting or advisory environments is highly beneficial.
- Proactive problem-solving approach, discretion in handling confidential information, and commitment to ethical and inclusive workplace practices.
