Details: Do you have experience in project delivery and contract management?

The City Renewal Authority plays a key role in planning and delivering urban renewal outcomes in central Canberra.

The Capital Works team delivers a diverse program of infrastructure projects across the City Renewal Precinct. The team comprises professionals with experience in project management, procurement, contract management, design, and construction.

As the Principal Project Manager, you will lead the planning and delivery of infrastructure projects across the full project lifecycle. This includes project planning, procurement, contract administration, stakeholder management, construction delivery, and project close-out. The role requires strong project management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities while exercising a high degree of responsibility and autonomy.

The current portfolio includes landscaping and urban infrastructure projects, public domain upgrades, municipal infrastructure works, including civil, electrical, and stormwater assets, and site investigation activities that support land release and development. Projects are delivered across both greenfield and brownfield environments and involve coordination with government agencies, consultants, contractors, utility providers, and community stakeholders.

Eligibility/Other requirements:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering,



architecture, landscape architecture, project management, or a related discipline, and/or membership of a recognised skilled body in Australia.
- Substantial experience in the delivery of infrastructure projects, including design, construction and project management.

Notes: This is a temporary position available from 12 October 2026 until 12 October 2027.
