Throughout the course of several decades, we have evolved our printing services to become the largest folding carton manufacturer in Queensland. About the Role The position of Printing Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating sheetfed litho offset printing presses.

- Setting up and operating sheetfed lithographic offset printing presses.




- Preparing and setting plates, blankets and impression cylinders.
- Setting ink profiles and achieving accurate colour to approved standards.
- Monitoring colour, registration and print quality throughout production runs.
- Ensuring finished work complies with customer specifications and quality requirements.
- Identifying and resolving printing and production issues.
- Minimising waste whilst maximising press productivity and efficiency.
- Completing scheduled press maintenance and assisting in maintaining equipment in excellent operating condition.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the printing department.
- Working closely with other printers, assistants and production teams to achieve daily production requirements.
- Maintaining a robust focus on safety, quality and good manufacturing practices.

The ideal applicant will possess the following:

- Trade experience and certification in the print/packaging industry.
- High attention to detail with the ability to think proactively.
- Ability to communicate and build relationships at all levels.
- Respect for the safety and wellbeing of oneself and others.
