We are looking for a Locksmith to join our growing team. Whether you're a qualified Locksmith or part-way through your Apprenticeship, we'd love to hear from you.
This is a great opportunity to join an established business, work alongside experienced Locksmiths and continue developing your technical skills across a broad range of locksmithing and security solutions.
About the role
Working as part of our locksmithing team, you will be responsible for a range of locksmithing services for our customers, including:
- Installation, servicing and repair of locks and associated hardware
- Rekeying, master keying and key cutting
- Installation and maintenance of door hardware and security products
- Attending customer sites to diagnose and resolve locksmithing issues
- Providing professional and reliable customer service
- Working with a range of commercial, residential and security products
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
- Maintaining accurate job records and ensuring customers receive a great experience
- Installation on SCEC-endorsed security systems
- Installations within high security Defence, Government and Correctional facilities
For an Apprentice,
you'll have the opportunity to continue your apprenticeship while gaining hands‑on experience alongside qualified and experienced Locksmiths.
About you
We're looking for someone who is practical, reliable and enjoys working with their hands.
You will ideally have:
- A Locksmithing qualification, or be currently undertaking a Locksmith Apprenticeship
- Practical experience in locksmithing, security, hardware or a related trade
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- A genuine interest in developing your technical skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- A current driver's licence
- A professional approach and solid attention to detail
