The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Senior Electronic Security Technician with robust commissioning experience to join an established and growing electronic security business.

n

This is a commissioning-focused role and would suit a senior technician who enjoys taking ownership of projects, getting systems operational, resolving technical issues and ensuring everything is fully tested and handed over to the client.

n

Commissioning Is the KeyWe're specifically looking for someone who has proven hands‐on commissioning experience across electronic security systems.

n

You will be responsible for taking systems from installation through to:

n

- Programming and configuration
n
- Commissioning and system integration
n
- Testing and troubleshooting
n
- Fault-finding and rectification
n
- System verification and quality assurance
n
- Client demonstrations and handover
n
- Completion of commissioning and project documentation
n

n

You'll be the person who makes sure the system is working correctly, meets the project requirements and is ready for handover.

n

About You

n

To be successful, you'll ideally have:

n

n




- Strong experience as an Electronic Security Technician
n
- Significant commissioning and programming experience
n
- Experience with access control, CCTV, alarms and intercom systems
n
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
n
- The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation
n
- Experience working on commercial and/or complex security projects
n
- Confidence dealing with clients, project managers and other trades
n
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of your work
n
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
n
- A professional approach and strong communication skills
n
