Process Workers & Pick-Packers - Food Manufacturing | Northern Suburbs

We are currently seeking dedicated and reliable Process Workers and Pick-Packers to join our client's Food Manufacturing team located in Melbourne's Northern Suburbs. These roles involve working in cool room environments (1-3°C) and are suited to individuals comfortable with temperature-controlled settings and fast-paced operations.

Shift Options and Rates: Day, and Afternoon (Start times between 5am - 7pm)

- Monday to Friday + Saturday shifts available
- Hourly Rate: $33 - $35 (based on shift finish and end times)

Key Responsibilities:

- Accurately sort, pick, pack, and label food products for dispatch
- Operate within cool room conditions (1-3°C) safely and efficiently
- Maintain correct stock rotation and assist with regular quality checks
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, tuggers, and forklifts (if licensed)
- Follow food handling and hygiene protocols in line with industry standards
- Support warehouse housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe working setting




- Achieve daily KPIs and contribute to team performance goals

To Be Successful, You Will Have:

- Experience in food manufacturing, warehousing, or logistics is desirable but not essential
- Comfortable working in cold storage or cool room environments
- Physically capable of lifting up to 25kg and performing manual handling tasks
- Familiarity with food handling practices, electric pallet jacks, and tuggers is an advantage
- Team-oriented with a proactive and positive work ethic
- Strong communication skills and high attention to detail
- Must hold full working rights in Australia - students are welcome!
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
