Lindsay Rural are seeking a motivated Procurement Officer to play a pivotal role in the efficient procurement of products that keep Australian farms operating and our rural supply chain moving.

Based at Acacia Ridge, on a full time basis you will bring strong attention to detail, commercial awareness and a proactive approach to ensure the right products are sourced at the right time and deliver value to the business and our farming customers.

What You’ll Do:

- Manage the accurate and timely procurement of inventory to keep our rural customers supplied.
- Monitor stock levels, sales trends and purchasing requirements to ensure the right products are available at the right time.
- Identify opportunities to maximise supplier pricing, rebates and commercial outcomes while maintaining healthy stock levels.
- Process and manage supplier and customer claims, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution.
- Investigate pricing, inventory and purchasing discrepancies and take proactive action to resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate purchasing,



supplier and product data across business systems.
- Analyse sales and inventory trends to support informed purchasing decisions and improve stock performance.
- Build strong, productive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Use sound commercial judgement to balance availability, cost, inventory levels and business profitability.
- Contribute to continuous improvement across purchasing and procurement processes

What You’ll Bring: To succeed in this role, we anticipate you will be able to demonstrate:

- Previous purchasing, procurement, supply chain, inventory, or commercial administration experience.
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
- Demonstrated ability to investigate discrepancies and identify root causes.
- Commercial awareness and ability to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Experience working with ERP systems, preferably Dynamics 365.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills including some formula exposure




- Ability to analyse data and identify trends using spreadsheets.
- Ability to interpret reports related to sales, inventory, pricing, and purchasing activity.

Relevant qualifications in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related discipline would be highly desirable but not essential. Candidates must have valid and current Australian working rights to be considered for this position.
