About the Role: As a key member of the Contracts & Procurement team, reporting to the Procurement & Contracts Manager, this role is responsible for the end-to-end sourcing and purchasing of goods and services across the Group. Working closely with operational and corporate stakeholders, and providing hands-on support to our onsite procurement and warehouse team at Mt Carbine, you will deliver commercially sound procurement outcomes that support production, control costs, and maintain strong governance and probity practices.

The role plays an integral part in quotation and tender processes, purchase order and expediting management, supplier relationship and performance management, and the delivery of cost savings and value-for-money outcomes for the business. You will also contribute to the ongoing enhancement of procurement systems, policies, and reporting capability as the business grows.



The position is preferably based in our Brisbane CBD office, with site-based arrangements at Mt Carbine considered for the right candidate and will involve periodic travel to our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end sourcing activities, including preparation and issue of RFQs and tenders, commercial evaluation, negotiation, and award recommendations
- Raise and manage purchase orders in the Group ERP environment, ensuring accuracy of pricing, coding, delivery, and payment terms
- Expedite open purchase orders and manage supplier delivery performance to support production and maintenance schedules
- Assist the onsite procurement and warehouse team at Mt Carbine with day-to-day purchasing, receipting, and expediting activities, including coverage support as required
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and supply arrangements to deliver measurable cost savings and value-for-money outcomes
- Establish and manage preferred supplier arrangements and pricing agreements for key categories of goods and services
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, including regular supplier performance reviews covering safety, quality, cost, and delivery
- Coordinate freight and logistics for domestic and international movements, including customs, import documentation, and dangerous goods requirements
- Maintain vendor master data, procurement records, and audit-ready documentation across the source-to-pay process
- Ensure procurement activity complies with company policies, delegations of authority, and probity and governance requirements
- Monitor and report procurement KPIs, including savings delivered, open order status, and supplier performance
- Work closely with the Inventory Specialist on stock replenishment and with the Contracts Specialist on contracted supply arrangements




- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of procurement systems, templates, processes, and reporting capability

Key Selection Criteria:

- Demonstrated experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain within a mining, resources, or heavy industrial environment.
- Qualifications in procurement, supply chain, business, or a related discipline highly regarded (CIPS membership an advantage).
- Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen, with a track record of delivering cost savings and value-for-money outcomes.
- Strong systems capability, with SAP experience preferred or demonstrated proficiency in a similar ERP system, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with site teams, corporate stakeholders, and suppliers.
