About the Role

Join our team at Kooragang Island as Production Operator.

This is a hands-on operational role where you'll be trained to safely operate and monitor the plant and equipment used within the Primary Distribution Centre.

We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, good basic IT skills and a willingness to learn. You do not need extensive industry experience – we will provide the training and support you need to become confident in the role.

What You Will Be Doing Safely operating and monitoring plant and equipment

Using computer-based systems to monitor the process and record information

Completing routine plant and equipment checks

Following operating procedures and safety requirements

Identifying and reporting issues or equipment faults

Supporting the team to achieve production and operational targets

Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment

Learning new processes, equipment and systems through on-the-job training About You

You do not need to have extensive manufacturing or industrial experience to be successful in this role.

We are looking for someone who: Has a positive attitude and is willing to learn

Is comfortable using computers and basic IT systems

Is reliable, safety-focused and takes pride in their work

Has a strong commitment to safety





Can follow procedures and work well as part of a team

Has good communication skills

Is keen to learn a current industry and develop their skills

Has previous experience in manufacturing, production, mining, agriculture or a similar environment (desirable, but not essential).
