About the role
As a Project Coordinator at Tigerform, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects. Responsible for overseeing shop drawings, assisting with procurement and scheduling, liaising with consultants and clients, coordinating temporary works, quality assurance and project documentation, this full-time position based in Moorabbin, Victoria, is essential to the company's operations.
What you'll be doing
1. Coordinate and manage shop drawings from issue through to approval.
2. Review drawings for missing information, clashes, inconsistencies, and site coordination issues.
3. Liaise with engineers, architects, consultants, builders, suppliers, and subcontractors.
4. Assist with procurement planning for materials such as precast, formwork items, reinforcement, PT, temporary works, and site requirements.
5. Track procurement dates to ensure materials and subcontractor inputs are available when required.
6. Assist with project programming and scheduling.
7. Help prepare and maintain lookahead programs and key milestone trackers.
8. Coordinate temporary works requirements, including propping, screens, crane/lift planning, platforms, backpropping, and engineering sign-offs.
9. Follow up outstanding information, RFIs, approvals, and documentation.
10. Assist with preparing and tracking RFIs.
11. Support the team with variations,
including identifying scope changes and gathering backup information.
12. Maintain project document registers and ensure current drawings and documents are issued to site.
13. Assist with quality assurance documentation, including ITPs, checklists, inspections, photos, and close-out records.
14. Help ensure project teams are working from the latest approved drawings and information.
15. Coordinate with site teams to resolve practical construction issues.
What we're looking for
1. Good attitude
2. Proven experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role in the construction industry
3. Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and track project plans
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders
5. Proficient in the use of project management software and tools
6. Adaptable and able to work well in a team workplace
7. Solid understanding of construction processes
