Calvin Christian School is a co-educational, independent Kindergarten – Year 12 Christian school located in Kingston. Primary enrolments currently sit at around 390 students, with Secondary enrolments currently sitting at around 480 students.

The Chance
n
The Head of Learning Area - Science will be a member of the K-12 Curriculum Team and the Secondary Teaching and Learning Team; reporting to the Head of Teaching and Learning (Secondary). The HLA is responsible for the strategic leadership of the learning area which includes staff management, budgets and building on a culture of inquiry that promotes student learning and growth.

About You
n
It is expected that the successful applicant will:
n
Be a committed Christian who is active in a local Christian church and expresses their faith through their lifestyle, demonstrating an expression of faith that is consistent with the Association's Objects, Educational Creed and Statement of Christian Faith.
n
The ability to teach a senior (Year 11/12) course is preferred.
n
Demonstrate innovation and creativity to ensure the highest quality teaching and learning opportunities for students.
n
Deliver the highest quality Christian education by intentionally partnering with parents in the nurture and education of all students.
n
Demonstrate and develop the large suite of organisational abilities and tasks that are required to undertake the role of leading a Learning Area in a Christian school.
