The opportunity We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer (Civil) to join our Sunshine Coast Operations team based at Corbould Park. Working under the supervision of a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ), you'll provide engineering support across a variety of road construction and maintenance projects while developing your technical and project management capabilities.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project delivery, work alongside industry experts, and contribute to projects that make a real difference to Queensland communities.

What You'll Be Doing As a Project Engineer, you'll play an important role in supporting the successful delivery of road infrastructure projects by:

- Assisting with the planning, coordination and delivery of construction and maintenance projects.
- Supporting project budgeting, programming, monitoring and reporting activities.
- Contributing to the preparation of estimates,



tenders and commercial submissions.
- Assisting with procurement activities, including sourcing project services and materials.
- Applying project management principles and systems to improve project performance and outcomes.
- Working closely with project teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard of quality.
- Providing technical advice and support to operational staff while building robust stakeholder relationships.
- Supporting compliance with engineering standards, specifications and safety requirements.

What You'll Bring We're looking for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys solving problems, and is passionate about civil engineering and project delivery. The Successful Applicant Will Demonstrate

- A degree in Civil Engineering recognised by Engineers Australia.
- Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- An ability to manage competing priorities and achieve results within timeframes.
- A proactive approach to learning, seeking feedback and continuous improvement.
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering practical solutions.

- A commitment to safety, quality and customer-focused outcomes.
