A well-established civil construction and infrastructure contractor is looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join their growing team in Sydney, NSW.

With a strong pipeline of projects across roads, utilities, drainage, rail, tunnelling and major infrastructure, this is an opportunity to work across a diverse range of civil projects and take ownership of key project delivery outcomes.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Project Engineer with solid civil construction experience who can manage technical, commercial and project delivery requirements from planning through to completion.

Experience across road construction or Sydney Water projects would be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage engineering and technical aspects of civil construction projects
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams
- Review drawings, specifications, ITPs, SWMS and project documentation
- Assist with project planning, programming and cost management
- Manage variations, progress claims and project reporting
- Monitor quality, safety and environmental requirements
- Liaise with clients,



consultants and stakeholders
- Track project progress and identify potential issues or delays
- Support the Project Manager with successful project delivery

About You

- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering
- Previous experience as a Project Engineer within civil construction/infrastructure
- Strong understanding of civil construction methodologies
- Confident working with drawings, specifications and project documentation
- Robust communication and stakeholder management skills
- Full Australian working rights – Australian citizens or permanent residents only
