At Project Station, we get to work with some of the most iconic brands in Australia — think Adidas, MECCA, Chanel, Samsung, Suntory and Burberry. We're a collective of retail pop-up and set builders, shopfitters, carpenters, cabinet makers and installers, all under one roof in Brookvale with our own in-house manufacturing. We're part of the Dashing Group.
We're looking for an exceptional Project Manager to run delivery for our Dashing Group account — you'll be dedicated solely to Dashing's retail activations, pop-ups and fitout projects, giving them a consistent point of contact who knows their business inside out. You'll report directly to the Account Manager for the Dashing account, in a casual but professional setting where the standard of work is high and so is the pace.
The RoleYou own a project from handover through to completion — the link between the Account Manager who sold it, Production who builds it, and the client who's waiting for it. You make sure nothing gets lost in translation and nothing falls through the cracks.
Handover & communication
- Be involved in handover meetings and get across the full brief and budget from day one
- Be the communication link between Production and the Account Manager throughout the project
- Loop into client emails and keep clients updated as the project progresses
- Attend production meetings and report back on progress, positives, issues or concerns
Budget & procurement
- Manage and align project budgets against the Account Manager's quote
- Source materials and manage procurement, maximising value within budget
Planning & timelines
- Own the project timeline from start to finish
- Create runsheets and schedules for site installations, and share them with the client
- Manage site folders (with the Account Coordinator) and keep all project information up to date
Internal coordination
- Liaise daily with every team touching the project — Account Coordinator, Production, Design, Workshop, Paint and Print — to make sure everything's progressing in step
- Run daily check-ins with each department, the Site Lead and the production team
- Keep tasks in Monday.com followed up, managed and completed
Site delivery
- Attend site to make sure projects land on time and to the client's expectations
- Liaise with the Account Coordinator on flights, accommodation, transport and other logistics for site work
- Check labour hire hours against invoices with the Site Manager
About You
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, ideally in retail activations, pop-ups, shopfitting or a related build environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication — you can talk budgets with a client and logistics with a workshop in the same day
- Comfortable being the go-between across multiple internal teams without losing track of the detail
- Sharp attention to detail and follow-through — things don't fall through the cracks on your watch
- Confident managing budgets, timelines and site delivery at the same time
- Positive, proactive, and willing to put in the work to get an exceptional result for the client — while keeping a healthy work-life balance
